2017 Aston Martin Vantage GTS is a US Special

Aston Martin is showing some love to the Vantage in the U.S. before the car is replaced next year.

The brand has introduced the Vantage GTS, combining the current GT and S models into one big trim level, though it is offered as a fixed roof or a droptop and in ‘sport’ or ‘lux’ versions.

The only engine on offer is still a 4.7-liter V8, mated to either a six-speed manual or seven-speed automated manual transmission.

Opting for the sport version of the car comes with a sport tuned suspension along with carbon fiberaccents, black accents on the exterior and plenty of alcantara and leather on the interior.

Those who choose the lux version of car will miss out on the sport suspension but will get some nicer looks thanks to gloss black exterior accents, a bright metal grille and an interior filled with satin chrome switchgear and piano black accents. A Bang & Olufsen upgraded audio system is also included.

All versions of the car now also come with Aston’s updated AMi III infotainment system.

When the new Vantage shows up, it will be powered by a twin-turbo AMG V8, which means this may be your last chance to get an Aston with a naturally aspirated V8.

Pricing for the 2017 Vantage was not announced, but expect it to start around $130,000.
