
Volvo announced the introductory prices of its most affordable offering in India, the EX30, earlier this week, with prices starting at Rs. (from the showroom) 39.99 lakh The aforementioned prices will be applicable till 19 October, after which it will bear a Rs. 41 lakh (ex-showroom) tag.
We recently tested the EX30 for its real-world range. The fan speed was set to 3, the AC temperature was set to 23 degrees, and the CarWale protocols were followed. The brake regen level could not be altered, and the drive mode was set to the default. The majority of the test was conducted in the city, with a sprint on the highway following.
The new Volvo EX30 is claimed to return a WLTP-certified range of 480km on a single charge. It is driven by a single, RWD electric motor and a 69-kWh battery pack. Power output stands at 272bhp and 343Nm. The vehicle traveled 403 kilometers during our test cycle before running out of juice.
