Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar police seized two sports cars after the drivers were found over speeding and driving in rash manners at PVNR Expressway on Sunday morning.
According to the police, the two swanky cars – Lamborghini driven by Pratheek and Audi car Chetan were going from Shamshabad towards Mehdipatnam via the PVNR Expressway when a few road users informed the police control room about their rash driving.
Immediately the traffic police team from Rajendranagar police station swung into action and chased the vehicles and with the help of the Hyderabad traffic police stopped them at Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital.
“Road users got apprehension of getting accident. Hence both the cars were intercepted on the PVNR,” said G Suresh, Station House Officer (Rajendranagar). The two vehicles were later confiscated and shifted to Rajendranagar police station. A case was registered by the police.
