For Sean, cars have never just been machines — they’ve been part of life for as long as he can remember.
His passion traces back to his dad, Rob, a long-time Supercar Driver member and former car dealer. Growing up around performance cars meant speed, design, and engineering were simply part of everyday conversation. Rob has been a member for six years, and Sean followed three years ago — originally just to enjoy the community and the cars.
Although Sean is now a partner within the club, that wasn’t the original plan. He joined purely as a member, wanting to share the experience with fellow enthusiasts. Only later did conversations with other members reveal an opportunity to help with foreign exchange and international payments. Even so, he’s clear about one thing: he wants to be known first as a petrolhead. If business happens naturally through shared passion, that’s just a bonus.
The best way to understand Sean? Look at the garage.
Ferrari 296 GTS
Sean’s first Ferrari holds serious significance — and not just because of the badge.
When Ferrari announced it was moving from a V8 to a V6 hybrid setup, skepticism was natural. But the 296 quickly silenced doubters. Sean describes it as one of the finest cars Ferrari — or any manufacturer — has produced outside the ultra-rare halo models.
The hybrid system delivers immediate torque layered over immense engine power, creating a smooth yet ferocious driving experience. He compares the sensation to riding a high-powered jet ski across a still lake — effortless, rapid, almost surreal.
Spec-wise, Sean opted for a black interior, roof, and wheels, giving the car a modern, aggressive look. The rear design, with subtle nods to the classic 250LM, seals the deal aesthetically.
What truly sets the 296 apart is accessibility. Despite performance levels that would have defined a hypercar just years ago, it’s remarkably approachable. His fiancée Katie drives it confidently, and friends have enjoyed time behind the wheel as well. Advanced technology and superb chassis balance make it feel planted and reassuring.
The car has already built memories: tours through the Dolomites and Croatia, and a sentimental drive to the South of France — where Sean proposed.
Convertible, practical, blisteringly quick, and comfortable enough for long journeys — it’s hard to fault.
Ferrari F355 Berlinetta
Unlike the 296, this purchase wasn’t planned.
Sean and his dad had previously shared a manual F430 with ultra-low mileage — a careful investment that was eventually sold to a fellow member whose dream car it was. They hadn’t intended to replace it. Then, almost serendipitously, a nearby owner offered his F355 for sale.
The Berlinetta version immediately appealed — widely considered the purest-looking variant. It’s a manual, beautifully preserved, and feels like a time capsule from the mid-1990s.
Released the year Sean was born, the F355 was one of the first supercars he remembers seeing as a child. While the 360 may have been his early poster car, appreciation for the 355’s lines and sound has deepened with time.
Plans are underway to fit a Capristo exhaust via DK Engineering, which promises an F1-inspired soundtrack — something Sean is especially excited about.
It may not match modern performance benchmarks, but emotionally? It’s arguably his favourite to drive. The slightly quirky driving position and analog feel only add to the charm.
Sometimes nostalgia wins over outright speed.
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Where the Ferraris deliver emotion and theatre, the 992 GT3 RS represents precision and purpose.
This is a car engineered with track performance at its core. Massive aero elements, aggressive stance, and razor-sharp steering create a driving experience that feels surgically focused.
For Sean, it offers something completely different within the collection — an opportunity to explore technical driving in its purest form. It’s less about cruising scenic routes and more about extracting performance, understanding balance, and chasing perfection corner after corner.
A Collection with Character
What stands out most about Sean’s garage isn’t just the badge variety — it’s the balance.
-
Modern hybrid hypercar-level performance
-
Classic analog Ferrari nostalgia
-
Track-focused German precision
Each car serves a different purpose. Each tells a different story.
At the heart of it all is enthusiasm — the same passion sparked years ago watching his dad’s world of cars unfold. Whether it’s touring Europe, sharing drives with friends, or simply admiring the engineering, Sean approaches his collection with genuine appreciation.
And that’s what makes it special.
Because beyond partnerships, business, and badges, he’s simply a car guy who loves driving — and that comes through in every mile.
